"Empires came out of the gate strong and have showed no signs of letting up," says Benetti. "[They play] solid, well-written pop music that is exciting enough for younger folks and sophisticated enough for the most jaded of adults. That's not so common these days."
Empires perform at Subterranean on Dec. 21 at 6:30pm; $8 advance, $10 day of show.
